A to F# Minor: One Extra Finger

This transition feels simple because the F# minor shape is just the A chord plus one extra finger.

A Fingering

  • Middle finger: G string, 2nd fret.
  • Index finger: C string, 1st fret.

F# Minor Fingering

  • Keep the A chord shape.
  • Ring finger: E string, 2nd fret.

Switch slowly at first, then try a steady down-strum on each chord.
