Gm - Eb Chord Changes

Keep two fingers fixed and slide one finger to move between Gm and Eb on ukulele.

Lesson objectives

  • Hold the Gm shape with three fingers.
  • Shift the middle finger to form Eb while keeping other fingers stable.
  • Build speed and accuracy in the C string movement.

Gm to Eb: A Small Slide

This transition uses a small movement of the middle finger while the other fingers stay in place.

Gm Fingering

  • Index finger: A string, 1st fret.
  • Ring finger: E string, 3rd fret.
  • Middle finger: C string, 2nd fret.

Eb Fingering

  • Keep the index and ring fingers where they are.
  • Move the middle finger to the C string, 3rd fret.

Practice the shift between the 2nd and 3rd fret on the C string until it feels easy.
